Best Time to Visit Chardham

Post monsoon September to October is another good window with fewer pilgrims and a clear sky making this period perfect for the Yatra.

Tempo Traveller Fare for Chardham Yatra from Delhi

Char Dham E-Pass and Registration

As per the recent news Uttarakhand government has mandated the e-pass for all the pilgrims going for the Chardham Yatra. This is issued to manage the heavy influx of devotees to ensure their safety. The online registration process started on 11th March 2025. You can do registration online through the Uttarakhand tourism website.

  • Registration is mandatory to obtain e pass for everyone planning to do the Yatra
  • A valid government issued ID proof (such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID or Passport) and a passport sized photograph are necessary for registration.
  • You can do registration both online and offline as per your convenience. Offline registration centers are available throughout the Yatra Route.
  • Authorities have capped the number of daily registration to prevent overcrowding. You are advised to plan and register in advance.
  • As the Chardham Yatra is going to trek to high altitude so pilgrims should carry necessary medicines and undergo prior medical checkup.
